Individual counselling FAQs
Q1: Who can benefit from individual counselling?
Anyone dealing with anxiety, stress, low mood, grief, anger or low self-esteem, and anyone who simply wants to understand themselves better.
Q2: How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your goals. Some people feel better after a few sessions; others prefer regular support over a longer period. Progress is reviewed together so you always know where you stand.
Q3: What happens in the first session?
You’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, your background and what you’d like to change. By the end, you’ll have clear goals and an idea of how sessions will work for you.
Q4: Can I have counselling online?
Yes. Online sessions over secure video call are available across Pakistan and for Pakistanis living abroad.
Q5: Is everything I share confidential?
Yes. What you share stays private. The only exceptions are rare situations where someone’s safety is at serious risk, and these are explained in your first session.
