Signs it may be time to talk to someone
- Using more or more often than intended

Stopping some substances suddenly can be dangerous. Dependence needs assessment by a psychiatrist and may require medically supervised detox or rehabilitation. Ayesha will refer you and can support you and your family alongside treatment.

No. Detox and rehabilitation are medical services. You’ll be referred, and counselling can continue alongside or afterwards.

Yes. Parents can get guidance on how to talk, set boundaries and find treatment.
Is it confidential?
Yes, apart from rare situations involving serious risk to someone’s safety.
What happens in the first session?
The first session focuses on understanding your concerns and agreeing on clear goals. You can ask questions and decide whether counselling feels right for you.
